Our Needs

Volunteer Event Planner

If you have experience in event planning and coordination, Project Peace needs you! We are looking for a person or people to plan some of our upcoming events, particularly the May 1 Battle of the Salsa Bands fundraiser.

This job involves working with the Project Peace staff and a team of volunteers to coordinate the event details, including location, food and drink, staffing, publicity, and program. If interested, contact Jose ( jose@projectpeaceeastbay.org).

Claremont Middle School Workday

Please join the Claremont PTA and Staff on Saturday, August 14 from 9-12, for a work day at Claremont Middle School. We will be: a) working in the garden; b) changing locker combinations; and c) helping to prepare student registration packets for mailing. Kids are welcome and encouraged to participate.
