Description |
| Better World Books | We partnered with Better World Books by mobilizing churches to collect books during the Advent Season. Better World Books is dedicated to funding literacy efforts around the world. |
| Chaparral House | Visiting Seniors at a local nonprofit skilled nursing facility in Berkeley. |
| Faith Network | Faith Network is a collaboration of Christian ministries, community-based organizations, individuals, businesses, educators and civic leaders mobilized to invest their time and other resources to improve the whole health of children and families of the East Bay. |
| Friends of Five Creeks | Friends of Five Creeks is a group of volunteers who seek to protect and restore the watersheds and aquatic and riparian habitat of the creeks of North Berkeley, Albany, Kensington, and southern El Cerrito and Richmond. They are a grassroots, all-volunteer organization affiliated with the non-profit Urban Creeks Council of California. |
| Oakland Elizabeth House | Supporting the staff at the Oakland Elizabeth House as they provide transitional housing for single mothers and their children. |
| Oakland City Team | Delivering groceries to under-resourced families in Oakland. Spanish and Cantonese speaking volunteers a plus. |
| Trade as One | Trade as One sells products that come with meaning and stories behind them. There are many people in America who would love to use their spending power to buy products that come with rich stories of hope and dignity. It uses spending power rather than donations as the means to bring jobs to the poorest of the poor by offering products that US consumers need. The products are all of extremely high quality and made by innovative socially responsible organizations in the developing world. |
